Cold, motionless and emotionless
No command no grin no smile
Longing for a hug one last time,
I am wrong, the dead don't hug!
But why leave before serving us full of hugs?
Emptiness saps, loneliness sets
Why do irreplaceable leave?
The void is too big to imagine it filled
Wish we can share heartbeat because,
That's not new to us - you started it.
No more solace in your bosom,
Punishments and scolds full of love,
Dotting, soothing, caressing and sweet
Not anymore hawk eyes over us
Who will spoil the rod and spare us?
Death,
Why do you take the foundation?
Aiming the collapse, a tumble, a fall?
The pillar always your target.
I've learned to stand stronger,
Taller and unbowed
I've copy pasted mom
Holding fast values screwed by you
You'll live in me, you'll breath,
You'll get a heartbeat again...
Courtesy of me.

Poet's note: The loss of a mother is a crack on a glass, never mending, never filling. But with the thought of sacrifices she's made, one gets stronger and she relives in you.
