A poet is not a killer
but a soldier or builder who builds social clubs,
communities and broken homes,
with his verbs and verses,
a poet is not a killer
but a soldier or medic who bandages your wounds of poverty and social injustices with his hymes and rhymes,
a poet is not a killer
but a soldier or a bitter pill or medicine to give you back your wealth of health with his rhythms,
a poet is not a killer
but a soldier or musician,
giving soul food to your perishing soul and spirit,
with his soothing voice,
a poet is not a killer
but a soldier or an auto machine gun fire in peacekeeping missions in the middle east,
