For Oge
She offered me her drink
And I jokingly said
She bought only a bottle
Like I'd wanted to drink;
She said she'd not drink much
And I accepted to drink half
And when the bottle was half empty
She offered me the bottle
And I took the rest
And enjoyed the love
Of a complete stranger;
That's what humanity was
Meant to be: sharing our lives
Like the brothers and sisters
We're with same progenitors
Not wild beasts tearing
At each other with animalism.
Love From A Stranger

Poet's note: I travelled with a lady in a bus who offered to share her drink with me in spite of the fact we were complete strangers. This set me thinking and made me think how this contrasts with the attitude of human beings in the world. Yet we claim to be from the same parents, Adam and Eve.
