Brown autumn leaves...
The owl hooting in the distance.
The wind blowing against my hair.
I choke of the air as I pant.
My naked feet slippery on the dew.
Samuel...
Punches, kicks,slaps.
I had run.
I had a life.
I was a wife...
A mother.
Ancient english blood underneath my black skin.
A constant dream and nightmare.
Hazy memories and unexplained feelings.
Pens and pencils scribble fast.
Every single time...
Those same woods smell my fear.
Continents apart now...
I am Lee.
Independent and somewhat free.
Black skinned and new.
A second chance,hallucinations?
Coincidence or influenced dreams?
Time has changed now.
For all I know,
The universe blew me.
Brown autumn leaves...
I spring awake panting...
