The Spider holds a Silver Ball
In unperceived Hands-
And dancing softly to Himself
His Yarn of Pearl-unwinds-
He plies from Nought to Nought-
In unsubstantial Trade-
Supplants our Tapestries with His-
In half the period-
An Hour to rear supreme
His Continents of Light-
Then dangle from the Housewife's Broom-
His Boundaries-forgot-
