Myself was formed-a Carpenter-
An unpretending time
My Plane-and I, together wrought
Before a Builder came-
To measure our attainments-
Had we the Art of Boards
Sufficiently developed-He'd hire us
At Halves-
My Tools took Human-Faces-
The Bench, where we had toiled-
Against the Man-persuaded-
We-Temples build-I said-
Myself Was Formed-a Carpenter
