A Clock stopped-
Not the Mantel's-
Geneva's farthest skill
Can't put the puppet bowing-
That just now dangled still-
An awe came on the Trinket!
The Figures hunched, with pain-
Then quivered out of Decimals-
Into Degreeless Noon-
It will not stir for Doctors-
This Pendulum of snow-
This Shopman importunes it-
While cool-concernless No-
Nods from the Gilded pointers-
Nods from the Seconds slim-
Decades of Arrogance between
The Dial life-
And Him-
